How fucked up is it that it would appear that Mexico has higher standards when it comes to ground beef then we do?
Actually thinking about it, considering that Mexico does not *seem* to be having the serious epidemic of obesity and diabetes that we have maybe we should stop letting giant faceless corporations who only care about their profits and not the food on our plates.

If there was ever a reason to know where your meat comes from, I can't think of a better reason!
On a side note, I'm now part of a meat and vegetable CSA. So, I actually can answer that last question and I know that the food I'll be eating is going to be raised sustainably and humanely.
